I know you like music. I have written some 1000 pieces - like Schubert - and also have, for the first time in history, transcribed and recorded with a decent orchestra, 34 unknown Beethoven pieces. Actually, I studied mathematical logic but was a graduate student in composition at the same time and had the good fortune to have had master classes from Lenny Bernstein, Gunther Schuller, Aaron Copland, Olivier Messiaen, William Schumann, John Cage et al.

Hello
I have been reading your book "A Terrible Revenge" and I am deeply moved by the book. I am glad that more and more books are published about what happend to the ethnic Germans who lived in the East. My father, My Grandmother and her sisters and her Parents themselves fled Schlesien in January 1945. Terrible things happend to them. Once they settled in Berlin they never forgot their homelands and where very sad that they never were able to go back. They died at a fairly early age and only the youngest sister was able to visit her old home after the iron curtain fell. I will never forget the stories they told me when i was small and that my family is from Schlesien. I was always very proud of that. I have collected old momentums and was even able to obtain a few copies of proof that they were indeed born in what is now Poland. I have settled in the United States with my 3 children but I do want to pass on to my children their heritage. Thank you for writing a book about what happend to the ethnic Germans in the East. Very many people would like to forget the revenge which was done to the in most part innocent people. All what the Russians proved was that they were not any better than Hitler's Army. Sincerely C. Sehr geehrter Herr Professor de Zayas,
wie Ihnen (vielleicht) bekannt ist, hatte ich für die politisch verfolgten Opfer - im Zuge der unrechtsstaatlichen Durchsetzung der Boden-/Industriereform in der SBZ/DDR/1945-49 - eine öffentliche Petition (ö.Pet.) in den 16. Deutschen Bundestag eingebracht - wie folgt :

In dieser (meiner) ö.Pet. ging es (mir) nachweislich und ausschließlich (!) um die Wiederherstellung der EHRE und REPUTATION der pauschal als "Kriegsverbrecher" diffamierten und politisch verfolgten Opfer der unbestreitbaren kommunistischen Willkür- und Terrormaßnahmen in der SBZ/DDR 1945-49.
Zu meiner ö.Pet. hatte der Petitionsausschuss zwei (-2-) Stellungnahmen seitens des Bundesministeriums der Justiz (BMJ) eingeholt - und meine ö.Pet. auf Grundlage dieser beiden Stellungnahmen "sang- und klanglos" abgeschmettert - vgl.:

Die Stellungnahmen zu meiner ö.Pet. seitens des BMJ stellten allerdings einzig und alleine auf schnöde und EHRLOSE Eigentumsfragen ab - und verweigerten somit vollständig den Sachverhalt und "Tenor" meiner ö.Pet. (Wiederherstellung der EHRE und REPUTATION) - vgl. (Stand der Bearbeitung: "abgeschlossen" - (verlinkte) "Begründung"):

Nach Ansicht namhafter Juristen wurde allerdings nicht nur der Sachverhalt vollständig verweigert - sondern der 16. Deutsche Bundestag (Pet.-Ausschuss und Parlament) wurden seitens des BMJ i.R.d. dubiosen Stellungnahmen mutmaßlich auch massiv getäuscht.
Die beiden dubiosen Stellungnahmen zu meiner ö.Pet. wurden mir (als Petenten) seitens des (meines ?) Petitionsauschusses bis heute völlig willkürlich und mehrfach schriftlich verweigert (...warum wohl ???). - Der renommierte Rechtsanwalt Dr. Johannes W. aus München hat aber nunmehr vor dem Verwaltungsgericht Berlin - Gott sei Dank ! - einen Prozess gegen unser BMJ gewonnen und das BMJ muss die dubiosen Stellungnahmen unverzüglich an Herrn RA Dr. Johannes W. in Kopie übersenden - vgl. hier:

Das heißt konkret, Herr Prof. Dr. Dr. de Zayas:
Unser Bundesjustizministerium wurde wegen Informationsunterdrückung resp. rechtswidriger Machenschaften verurteilt - und der Steuerzahler darf die Prozesskosten hierfür auch noch bezahlen !!!
Die mögl. Täuschung des Parlaments wird Herr RA Dr. Johannes W. nunmehr anhand der unverzüglich zu übersendenden dubiosen BMJ-Stellungnahmen präzise verifizieren und anschließend der geneigten Öffentlichkeit präsentieren können.
"La verguenza esta verde ... und unser BMJ hat sie offenbar gefressen !!!" q.e.d.

Here is an example of where I think the "Good War" theory of WWII is leading us.
A letter to the editor in today's "New York Times Magazine" says:
"Those who raise alarms about 'Islamo-fascism' should be comforted by such a policy," . . . [of "support of 'secular' and 'godless', and yes, 'socialist' Yemenis" . . .] "as it only mimics U. S. policy on the eastern front from 1941 to 1945." I quote the writer, an academic, not to skewer his view so much as to express bafflement that America's support of expedience for the Soviet Union amid the complexities of WWII could be regarded as anything other than a whole bunch of trouble. I mean--good grief--does anyone need reminded that the Soviet defeat of Nazi Germany legitimized the Stalinist system, and emboldened Mao and the Chinese Communists? The "Good War" theory is WWII Lite, Kindergarten history, and a blank check for American Presidents to enter into wars without justification. |

Ich weiss, dass Schildkröten keinen mit Pestiziden behandelten Salat fressen. Sie haben die Gabe, Gut von Böse zu unterscheiden und imponieren durch ihre Fortbewegungsweise.
Wenn Sie alle Viere unter den Panzer legen, kann auch ein Auto ueber sie hinweg fahren.
Sie bringen Lech K. in Zusammenhang mit Ihrem Buch Nemesis von Potsdam. Ich habe mir das Buch, das ich seit dem Besuch bei Ihnen in Genf im Hause habe, noch einmal zur Hand genommen. Sie haben wunderbar alles zusammen getragen.
Haben Sie bei all Ihren Recherchen auch Tatsachen zu dem Panslawischen Kongress und die damit verbundenen Bestrebungen von 1920 - 1932 recherchiert.
Gibt es einschlaegige Literatur zu diesem Thema, das doch recht unbekannt ist.
Ich wuerde mich sehr freuen, von Ihnen zu hoeren. Wir waren kuerzlich 3 Tage in Genf. Es war ein sehr kurzer Besuch.

Dear Mr. DeZayas,
It is with great pleasure that I am able to contact you. My name is Heidemarie Guggi and I am an actress/plawright/teacher currently living in Vancouver BC Canada. A few years ago I started interviewing my mother and uncle who were living in Franzfeld, Yugoslavia during WWII. They were ethnic Germans living in the Banat region, (known as Donau Swabians) whose ancestors had been in that area for more than 250 years.
In 1944 when Russian and Serb partisans came to her village they interrogated my grandmother and my aunt, took them to the city hall and the next day they were executed.
My mother and Uncle who were 11 and 13 respectively spent time in a concentration camp set up by the Partisans.
I had no idea of all of my family history but yearned to learn more. My mother and Uncle were more than willing to share this information with me and my partner and I have done quite a bit of research on this time in history. We have enjoyed reading your books.
Last year we compiled all of the information we had and wrote a one-woman show about my grandmother and my mother's family which was presented here at the Vancouver Fringe Festival. Our greatest comment was from an elderly Jewish man who understood the attrociaties that occurred to so many Germans after the war.
For so many years I have suffered a guilt of being of Germanic heritage until I started to delve deeper into our past. My elder sister (who is a journalist) is still uneasy with it and was very uncomfortable when I told her I was going to do this play.
Mr. DeZayas I would love to have my play perform across Canada and the US. I think it is such an important part of forgotten history that no one knows about. I have come up with a bit of resistence with smaller companies here in Vancouver and Toronto,and wondered if you had any suggestions on how to proceed. I was thinking perhaps a University circuit.
It would be a pleasure meeting you someday, my partner could do a PHD on the subject, having read so so many books on the subject. It is clearly a passion for him as well.

Es ist daher kein Wunder, dass es Dir seit geraumer Zeit ähnlich dort geht. Alles nur "Porno", wie man aus den heutigen Pressemedien (z.B. t-online-nachrichtendienst)erfahren muss !?
